I am using a Korean version of Windows and I use shift-space combo to switch between korean and english input. This seems to disable shift-space function for Live. Can this function be assigned to different key combo?

perhaps because Live warps audio automatically when imported?

good thread. I've recently moved from Cubase/Nuendo and love what I can 'play' in session view. However, I start and finish entirely in arrange view. I guess I am missing something.

Anyone running both successfully? PadKontrol driver installed fine and it is being recognized in Live (padKONTROL 1 MIDI IN/padKONTROL 1 PORT A/B show) but Key/MIDI In Indicator in Live doesn't blink when hitting pads on PK.

Just installed Win7 32bit here and everything is working pretty nice. Vista was unable to match low latency performance of XP, but Win7 is almost as good as XP. So far so good.

Alternatively, if you always want your effects turned off when dropping them, you could save a default preset with the effect turned off (see in the device context menu). That way, you can even define settings for the default state of the effect.

Trust me, I just moved from Nuendo/Cubase to Live, and it's much worse there. I've felt that Live 8 is very stable and just working compared to some of those applications.
