Re: Hi-Q In Simpler?
sampler has various interpolation modes. you could set up a sampler with best interpolation and then set that as the the default preset. simpler, simpler's just simpler isn't it? yes a simpler is just a less cpu intensive sampler, So I don't want to use sampler on everything, so do you think using ...

Hi-Q In Simpler?
Hey, so I know that regular audio files have the option of Hi-Q so that if they are pitch bended they recieve less distortion. I always put my audio files directly into simpler though so that I can just write the midi and usually transpose the audio into key. Is there a way to Hi-Q In Simpler/Sample...

Re: Audio Clipping
Just select normalize then when you render out of Live like i said before because of warping there are large peaks so normalizing just lowred the entire track by like 4db... I put a high threshold hard knee compressor and then a limiter on it, that seems to have done the trick since it's now 0db no...

Re: Audio Clipping
Yes, I was the one who told you about the warping causing clipping. Why can't you just lower the volume faders of both tracks until they no longer clip? Then balance the two parts until they sound like they are at the same volume. I can but in dance music it's considered ideal to be as loud as poss...

Re: Audio Clipping
Not to be a smart ass, but can't you just listen to them and do it by ear? yes...but they clip... I just went through a fresh file to see why it's clipping even though it shouldn't be and one of the guys above was right, warping it is the reason its clipping, otherwise its completely stable at 0.0....

Re: Audio Clipping
I figured out that using replaygain the percieved loudness difference is 1.2dB, it's weird though because when I lower the louder one now it doesn't clip anymore but the intro mix which was previously quieter still does ><. Is there any way using ableton or audacity or something that I can normalize...

Re: Audio Clipping
Yes, but how do I match up the volumes of the two tracks? Do I just guess?Tarekith wrote:You can do it, you're just going to have to lower the track faders until it no longer clips.

Re: Audio Clipping
Do you have warping turned on for the clips? Some of the warp modes will cause clipping, even if the source audio itself is not clipping but close to it. Yes I had to warp the clips because the first track is a "mixed track" meaning it mixes into more tracks and does not have a steady BPM...

Re: Audio Clipping
I just found another big problem, I am trying to make a full version of Air For Life (Intro Mix) by replacing everything past the intro with the original mix thus making it a full length track, the problem is that they seem to be at two different natural volumes, the intro mix is much quiter but if ...

Audio Clipping
Hey, so I had some audio imported into ableton (Air For Life in .FLAC) and it's channel was set to 0dB and so was the master but for some reason at certain points the master would turn red and show clipping. I have attached a picture http://i40.tinypic.com/30jh2bm.png I get this all the time and I d...
