I remember Ott (engineer/producer/composer/all-round-audio-badass: www.ottsonic.com) once did a test where he critically compared the internal summing of Live, Logic, Cubase and some other DAW (can't remember)...

his conclusion was something like "fuck knows how, but Live comes out on top"

ok - I'd really love to be able to do this. Perhaps a few raw oscillators too? It would make Live into more of a modular synth environment which would make it the BEST computer music project on the market IMHO.

my money is on the M-Audio device...

I make my own. Sine wave, pitch envelope, amp envelope, LOADS of compression and EQ, then usually layer it up with a live kick and compress and EQ some more.

I do quite a bit of dub n stuff. Live's great for it - get some loops together, set up delays, verbs etc on sends, map them to some controller knobs, spark up a fat one and off you go... I'd recommend Live's filter delay- try mapping every parameter to a knob - loads of possibilities. That Interrupt...

yeah - Live's resonators will do the trick. Vocoder would be better though.

Wait - let me get this straight (I'm in the office so can't try it) - you're sending audio from "Source" to the reverb on the Return channel, routing the Return channel into "Audio Dest" and then bringing up the send level on "Audio Dest"... ?
