I would never use a Mac even if I was given one for free. A Windows laptop/Pc has far more power and there is far more choice and available software for the Windows platform. A lot of it is free too. Plus there is price to consider too. Give me Windows any day!!!! Well now that Apple is going Intel...

Its realy simple, if u go for sound, choose hardware. If the sound doesnt mather, go for software. comletely ludicrous. there are some sounds software does better. some hardware does better. Comletely? Is this some new type of stew? No, but really? The only reason why software tends to sound the sa...

Hey.... maybe instead of complaining about how other artists that seems to be over rated are getting all the attention, you could just prove that you can do a better job? If you music is really good, It will stand up for itself. Who really gives a fck if Daft Punk has the most mind numming music? It...

Just to throw something in... I got my iMac Intel and the perfomance test ran at about 25%. I would have to say this is the happiest I have ever been. Once Reaktor is compatible, I am going to start throwing tracks down like no other. It took me months to finish one because my computer was so slow, ...

um
Probably should put this in bugs but...
Does anyone else have a problem loading any 3rd party plugins? On my iMac I can't load any plugins, not even universal ones. Is this because it's a beta? Or is there still a REALLY big bug.
Just asking

Held back.
Recently I have fallen into a state where I can make nothing. There seems to be a loss of inspiration and ability to create musical structures wheather it be chords or percussion. I feel that I lack the sample material I need to make music and I tend to listen in awe to other artists, wondering how ...

Distorted sound, tring to find it.
Once again involves a sound that SQpusher uses ;-). On the ultravisitor album, the track Steinbolt. Does anyone know what "instrument" is used for that distorted lead and can it be duplicated in reaktor "easily". By that i mean in a short time. I don't want to work on an uber ens...
