Also having this problem. Sometimes I will have to restart Live. The GUI in 11 is fine until cpu starts getting up to 50-60% and then it becomes unresponsive to mouse clicks. I can still interact with Live via APC but not mouse clicks.

I like the fact that Live’s devices don’t look flashy. It’s not rack-mount gear. Why should it look like real rack gear?

in the meantime, there is a max device called Beat Labs Instant Sampler. Realtime recording and you can map the start/end points to midi.

Don’t hold your breath. Just record session clips into arrangement. Don’t drag and drop.

An orange dot appears next to parameters that have automation in any part or session or arrangement. If you want to use a certain device for a specific clip, drop the device on the channel and turn it off. Then use an envelope to turn it on when you need it.
