Re: 7up & max4live
Just downloaded and started playing with 7up 2.0, big improvement on the old 7up, which I found very finicky.
You just drop all the different devices into tracks in live and play away.

Re: 7up & max4live
Some of the peeps over at the monome forums have gotten the Launchpad to emulate a monome using some sort of OSC wrapper for the launchpad, don't have a Launchpad so I didn't delve any further. It works with mlr and the other standard monome apps apparently. I presume you could do something similar ...

Re: Dave Smith Tetra - who has one? Thoughts?

Hype ? Evolver's a...

Re: Have you bought M4L?
Bought and sucessfully turned my monome into a launchpad with a patch from the monome forums.
Max noob, so trying to learn from other peoples patches. Might have a look at getting mlr inside live with sensible routings, sync with Live was always a pain with mlr.

From the manual 'Note: The filters in this device are optimized to sound more like a good, powerful analog filter cascade than a clean digital filter. The 48 dB Mode especially does not provide a perfect linear transfer quality, resulting in a slight coloration of the input signal even if all contro...

OpenCL in Live ?
Not sure of the tech problems surrounding implementing this within Live, would be great to be able to get intensive 3rd party reverbs and softsynths to run off the GPU though.
