Everything you need is actually in the manual, but if you would like to watch some instructional videos, I can recommend Groove 3. They have a great set of tutorials for just about every DAW out there.

The best advice I can give you is to be patient. There is MUCH to learn.

Is the velocity the same as the other kicks?
Did you create automation in the fader volume by accident?

I apologize. I saw this video and didn't attempt it in Live. I just tried the same thing in Live 10 beta 10.0.2b2, and there was no offset at all. The timing was perfect.

Soundtoys EchoBoy is great. I'm also a big fan of Replika XT. I'm pretty sure that both of those can do exactly what you are talking about. I have both of them, and they both have a "analog tape" setting that mimics the behavior of true analog tape delays.

Are you using a 1st gen or a 2nd gen Scarlett 18i8. I'm using a 2nd gen on a Windows 10 64 bit computer, and I haven't had ANY issues at all. There was an update to the drivers a few months ago.
