Re: a listenable eurorack improvisational channel
Yea, know about his modular. Been following everything Eat Static / Ozrics related music since the early 90's. They were always ahead of time with their music. Seen Eat Static live almost 10 times...and always say it's the best electronic live performer(s) I've ever seen. Never seen a laptop on thei...

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
turn up the one you circled, and turn down the first four. The ones that are up.
Now you will have sound input only via daw.
Now live will control the inputs. 4 mono 2 stereo.
1 and 2 will probably be the main audio master, what is called daw in your setup...i think.

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
In your soundcard software mixer.
Turn down the inputs, now live will control the input sound via the external instrument.
So what you hear is what you record.
You might hear the sound a fraction later, depending on your buffer settings and soundcard latency.

Re: a listenable eurorack improvisational channel
This man makes me very envious. I wish I could afford a hardware modular that comprehensive! How fluid and dynamic it is. I also wish Ableton was capable of this kind of modular immediacy but I guess it's just not possible. I mean ... You can improvise, but with sample loops and notes rather than r...

Would this be possible to make ?
Im using Geosynth on the iPad to control my synth with multidimensional polyphonic expression. Right now, I'm setting up 4 midi channels and 4 external instruments channels for that. Could it be possible to make a device that does this in one or maybe two channels ? Or even better...maybe it's alrea...

Re: Midi polyphonic expression support in ableton?
This is gonna catch up really quick. This video shows that we just have to wait for a standard. They talk about what to name it, and the use of midi in it's name. What would lead to needing agreement of the Midi standard, allmost like politics... Hope they decide on this sooner then later. For many ...

Why do french and german people always think it's ok to post in their native language on an english forum ???
Somehow that feels very rude...
