Have you tried the duplicate function? apple D on mac, copies a selection and pastes it right next to the orig. automatically. you can do it as many times as you want to. does that help?

yeah, i'm serious. Y'know where you can name your scenes? Well i write stuff like the tempo i use for the clips in that area and sometimes notes for FX on/off and crap like that.

well i'll be damned, you can resize the arrange window tracks.
