Re: AL vs. FL
I never claimed to have owned Record. No, but you didn't say you don't own it when offering advice to someone who SPECIFICALLY asked for user feedback. Same difference. You're well able to disclose the full facts - if indeed they are the full facts, but only when called out on talking poop. Work on...

Re: How to pitch down vox but keep their diction?
try a different algorithm, like re-pitch or complex, etc... try them out if one might work better then the other. also, if you transpose down, maybe try to apply a tiny bit (really just a notch, nothing radical) EQ after transposing to lift the mid/highs a tad and make them 'cut' through a bit more ...

X instances of ableton 'open with default problem'

Re: Anyone seriously use arrangement?
Never see it. Love my Live! Meaningless response. You called Logic etc. bloated CPU hogs. Live is the CPU hog bar none, if you had spent any time in any other software, you would know this. Many many reasons to love Live, it's CPU efficiency is not one of them. +1 logic CPU hog, wow! man you really...

Re: Anyone seriously use arrangement?
You only need to drag it once, from then on its just a double-click on any clip to get full screen and getting back to Arrange view is shift/Tab. depending on what you need... editing midi and doing other tasks in between, you need to permanently mouse around and drag windows back and forth. what y...

Re: How do you know what sample rate your samples are?
the quickest way in OSX i find is to use the info manager, press command+alt+i when you have highlighted an audio file (or any other file, app or folder for that matter), that command instead of just command+i (for open info) opens the info manager and then you just highlight one after the other and...

Re: Anyone seriously use arrangement?
hello? fullscreen midi editing? cmon man.. You can do full screen midi editing in arrange view if you drag the divider to the top, or am I missing the point ? ah yes, well, that means that you have to drag the freaking thing, and for us dual monitor users it means that we have a full screen midi ed...

Re: A good dubby delay recommendations
Kingdubby looks good but apart from using the 3 presets that come with it it seems unusable. I cannot get the knobs to move!! anyone having the same problem. I'm on 8.1.4. you need to open the map editor (midi) and map the controls to a hardware controller, such as a nanokontrol, bcr, etc... it has...
