Does anyone know how impulse works right now? Maybe it's already loading the samples into RAM by default. So maybe there's no switch because there's no reason to switch it off? Well because the disk activity indicator was lit up when I was using impulse the other day with my own samples no other cl...

Nice ideas quandry.I was just hoping they could simply implement some sort of program change compatibility but your ideas for control of the instrument using any knob/button the user prefers sounds really good (Much better thought out) and would give the user more control and more choice to customiz...

Program Change Support For Live Instruments
It would be nice to be able to step through your sound presets in either Impulse Simpler or Operator without having to use the mouse or browser. Perhaps we could use program change messages to do this? Whatever midi instrument is record enabled should respond to program change. Also default controll...

Cannot delete "Live/Liverecordings/Temp/00041-audio.aif
I have had an error message similar to undo.cfg happen quite regularly so heres some info. What I was doing 1.Opened live and was working in a new set 2.Used operator and recorded some audio clips into track 1 3.Selected Save as so I could enter a filename for my set. Entered the filename and OK 4.E...

Hello Alex thanks for checking this, basically I was working in Live 5.0.1 recording clips from midi etc. Usually if I want to copy the name of the clip I use the mac keyboard shortcuts but when I tried nothing happened.Usually you can see the edit menu highlight for a second but nothing happened. I...

Lost the ability to copy and paste clip names
For some reason the copy and paste function stopped working.
What I was doing was just trying to select the clip name and copy it to name another clip.
This never happened before weird
Maybe this has been already addressed ?
Does anyone else notice this happen ?
Pbook OSX 10.4.2 live 5.0.1

You sure that it doesn't? I know/have been told that Akai samplers, even when set in stream-from-disk mode, still cache the first second or half second of each sample cos disk access times aren't quite there yet... Yeah I know that some samplers do use a ram this way I am not sure though how impuls...

Option For Impulse To Use Ram To Store Samples
I just think seeing as the impulse samples can be really small why not allow the option to hold impulse samples in Ram rather than stream from disk.
Hopefully better impulse performance for people with enough Ram.

Yeah everybody seems to have similar feelings I know on windows you can use that program with live to use NRPN (I dont have windows so I am screwed) and there are probably ways of getting around some of the other midi issues that others will know, but why not improve live? I think personally all the...

Yeah I personally wouldnt like to have 10 preset locations but that is just because I only use the three at most and can navigate around to other folders pretty quickly from these default locations.I like things clutter free and simple but thats obviously just the way I work so others may feel there...
