Could you maybe explain in detail what the knobs and the L1-L3 buttons do exactly? Sorry but I'm very new to Live..

What would the best way to setup the padKontrol for live? Trigger clips?

I can't say I've used a Roland SPD but I can say the Korg feels very nice. The pads are very smooth to use but the only downside is only two control knobs. The XY pad makes up for this though. It's very light but can definitely take a bashing and feels very sturdy.. So no automaps from anyone? :wink:

Has anyone made an automap for a padKontrol?

Ahh nice one, this should work with my PCR50. Now I need one for my padKontrol.

Just bringing up an old post..

After installing the padKontrol USB drivers, you need to actually install them by going to the KORG directory in Start > Programs and installing the MIDI driver. Once that's done you should be able to select padKontrol in Live, rather than USB Device..
