Hello.
Does anyone know if it is possible to capture audio from Youtube with Live? I'd like to route it directly, without having to use an external audio converter box.
Thanks in advance.

Re: A tuner device?
+! !!!! This is sorely needed, especially for Mac. There are some free tuners out there (Tuneit, and those from Katsura shareware), but the interface doesn't show up properly in Live. (Dunno why Live's AU plugins so often lack a graphical interface.)

bluetooth footswitch?
Hello. Does anyone know of a wireless or bluetooth footswitch? I'd like to use a single or dual switch, rather than a wired and powered MIDI footswitch with Live's new looper. It'd be great if it were wireless. X-tempo makes the POK, which is cool, but it's pricey, has too many buttons/too large for...

Audio Unit user interface?
Hello.
Does anyone know why some AU plugins only show a generic (and often unuseable) GUI, while others show up fine in Live?
Thanks,
A

Well I feel like an idiot...the faders were the same, BUT not the crossfader (off center by 0.2 db), and I was not viewing the crossfader to see this, but nonetheless had tracks assigned to A and B crossfader sides. Sorry sorry for wasting users' time with this, but the consolation prize is that the...

No problem. Actually, I appreciate the feedback and help. Yeah, it's the same thing with delay compensation on or off. No plugins at this point either. Bare bones Project. Eh...I emailed support to see if they can shed some light. I'd actually be happy (after feeling stupid) if it's operator error a...

Yes, basic math, I know, which is why I can't figure out why this would be. Spare me the snarkiness, btw. Another thing: the tones cancel more completely when I bump the inverted file up by 0.17 dB (...even though in Pro Tools with the same files this adjustment is unnecessary). If you want, send me...

The levels are the same (0.00 dB) But here's something else fishy: I have two 1 kHz test tones, one inverse polarity. When I put them in Live they do not cancel to zero, but are instead about 60 dB down. And by the way, the files are unwarped. Fader levels are the same 0.00 dB) However, these same f...

how do you flip polarity (phase) of tracks?
Hello. I'm trying to figure out how to invert the polarity of tracks, and so far, it doesn't seem like Live does this properly. Here's how I'm testing: -Put two identical unwarped audio clips on two different mixer channels. -Put the Utility plug in on one channel (with delay compensation enabled in...

Option to disable Live 7 unwarped browser audtion behavior
I hate how Live 7 does not warp auditioned clips in the browser, but instead now plays the clips at the original tempo (unless the session is playing). Previous versions of Live always played clips at the tempo setting of your session, regardless of whether the session was playing or not. I would li...

Thanks, But jeze, why does it always seem to be a few steps forward, and a couple backward with Live? They should have made this an option if they're going to change it. With the new Live 7 behavior, you have to wait around for your nearest quantize point for the loop to play in the browser if you w...

Live 7 audition clip tempo behavior change?
With Live 7, when I audition clips in the browser, loops only play at their original tempo, not the tempo of the session...unless the session is actively playing. It used to be that when auditioning clips in the file browser the loop would play at the tempo that the session was in, regardless of whe...

Farfisa organ plugin or samples?
Hello.
Can anyone recommend an authentic-sounding organ plugin (for Mac) or set of samples to emulate a Farfisa organ?
Thanks,
A
