Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
Some ideas. I guess... 16? 1. PDC for automation . I generally get by OK with the work-arounds, but there are timing critical instances where I can't really do them and it's make it or break it for certain things. 2. Delay compensation for Video playback and display (metering, playback head, etc). I...

Re: The library mess
The "User Library" section of the browser allows you to create folders, folders within folders, and save any type of live device inside them. You can organize your shit to your heart's content. So anybody whining (for what, a solid year now?) about how the tagging system in the upper port...

Macro / Mapping Min-Max Improvements
I do a lot of macro mapping within instruments, with multiple parameters, across several devices mapped to single macro knobs (like I'm sure a lot of you do!). This is pretty simple as it is, and it affords a lot of power, but I hit an annoying snag when mapping out a patch. I really dislike how mac...

+1 here. I'd love to see this, along with a more elegant comping solution inside of Live.

Re: still single core for exporting, consolidating and freezing?
In large projects these functions are PAINFULLY slow. It is sometimes faster to record to resampling in realtime... doesn't make sense, waste of CPU - all daws have moved beyond this I always found that audio BTD more reliable than exporting/freezing. Then let's make it faster and more reliable to ...

+1
Yeah, this is pretty painful in my larger projects towards the end of the album I'm working on. For me, it's currently faster 9/10 times to re-record or resample thing than it is to bounce or freeze.

+1 for Melodyne DNA. Doesn't always work, but it can work pretty good!

Re: I give up, Ableton, I really do. PDC/timing/hardware issues,
Yes, the other thread deals mainly with delay compensating lives automation when plugins with latency are chained/added to the session. Morerecords: This is a similar issue, but not same as the other thread. It seems like the midi you are sending your external synths is NOT delay compensated related...

Re: New Elektron product - Analog Four
Hahahahaha they are so ridiculous with their trailers and marketing.
Really excited to see what they do with this, though. A parameter locking analog synth with multiple outs and CV out is one of the few pieces of new gear that would be welcome in my studio.

I guess it at least goes to show people are passionate about their craft, even if there are a few cuts, scratches, and soggy diapers along the way.

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
It's a shame this thread has come down to personal attacks, condescending view points, and bickering. It's a legitimate issue of broken functionality which really should be addressed. Yes, there can be work arounds (as with most bugs), but I hope more people can see why this is important and voice i...

Live 9 Compressor- Feed-forward and Opto modes?
Really excited for the new compressor, but I'm wondering about the Opto envelope and feed-forward models, and backwards compatibility with these settings. I don't see them on the new compressor device. I can see how the opto mode may be covered by the lin/log selector. I didn't see anything about th...
