Re: Akai APC 40 Problem
Hey guys, Each control surface category selection row in the MIDI Sync preferences utilizes a different color. Red is line 1 Orange s line 2, etc So if you have the APC40 on line 2 in the Control Surface menu it will be orange instead of red Think 6 APC40's at once going to battle http://forum.able...

Akai APC 40 Problem
Just got it today and it's amazing! One problem tho: the bank selector on the GUI is orange, not red. To those who own it, any idea how to change the colour? Thanks!

Re: My super duper in depth review of the APC40
Great review! I rushed out to buy today after reading it.
One question, tho: On my computer, the bank selector on the GUI is orange, not red. Why's this? How do I change the colour?
Thanks!

Re: What soundcard do you use for your laptop?
I'm using a Novation Nio 2/4 and I'd say it offers a good bang for your buck. I play a mix of Dubstep, Breaks, Dubtech and Minimal about 4 times a month and my Nio's have served me well. It's built like a rock, offers decent output quality and is more than capable of holding it's own in small to med...

Thinking of getting the ableton bag as well. Is it worth buying? How's the build quality?

Thanks!
Thanks blastique! That was EXACTLY what I needed to know. I set the MSB and LSB on Enigma both to 127 and now it works fine - one press ON, one press OFF. Thanks again!

I just got mine about a week ago. Had some issues with the Nio at first (distortion on the inputs, crackling when playing two tracks at once on Live) but they were all resolved after I updated the driver. Pros: - FX Rack is really cool if you play the guitar or bass. - 2 inputs; great for cueing son...

I had other problems with my Nio when I just got it, but they were all fixed after I installed the latest driver. Have you tried doing that? You can get it at: http://www.novationmusic.com/support/software/nio_24/ Also, if you haven't, try contacting their technical support. They got back to me in j...

X-Session Pro MIDI Mapping Problem: Must Press Buttons Twice
Recently purchased m-audio's x-session pro and it works fine except the buttons have to be pressed TWICE to have any effect. For example, if I map the cue button on the x-session pro to the cue button on Live, I would have to press it twice to activate it. Would really appreciate it if you guys coul...
