You don't have to do all that stuff with live 9. Just double click the pack (make sure it opens with Live 9, not 8 if you still have that installed). Have you noticed yet that it's only for factory content? Save a preset -> no preview.

They removed that setting, now it's permanently "as audio buffer". I believe it's now an option in the options text file, but they said in the beta that having the plug-in buffer be different than the audio buffer could cause problems with some devices/plug-ins. The whole situation stinks ...
