Re: Audio interfaces that allow control of Mac's system volume
That's weird that the RME UC doesn't allow system volume to control it. My RME Fireface 400 does. I use my wireless keyboard volume controls all the time. Whether or not I'm using a DAW. It controlls the fireface output level which in turn controls Ableton's output (main outs going to fireface) as w...

Re: Battery 4 + Live 9 Drum Racks
If you really want to use Battery (rather than just the samples), you can load it onto a cell, put that to accept all midi ins. Then use external instrument devices, sending to Battery. If you have no more pads then Battery has outs, you can use the midi out and audio in for the ext. instrument for ...

How to stop Push light feedback from other midi controllers?
I was playing yesterday in Live where I was controlling Push and someone else was playing e-drums. Although the E-drum channel was set to only receive from the e-drum kit and my other channels were set to only receive from Push, I was still getting the light flashing on all the notes where the e-dru...

How to adjust display contrast? Viewing position seems wrong
Currently the angle at which I normally look at push has to high of brightness in the non-lit pixels. Even from directly above it's not quite right. The weird thing is, it's perfect if you look at it from an angle behind push. So if you were looking at it from a normal standing or sitting position b...

Re: Screw you Komplete 9 upgrade install discs!
So I downloaded the disc image file and went to burn it to DVD. Problem. DVDs are like 4G and the file is 8G. :x As an aside, I really like Battery 4 but it's beyond me that they didn't include a slicer. May seem like that would be an incentive to get Maschine, but Maschine is a lot more expensive ...

Re: White Led colors have different color tints/shades
Ok here's what I don't understand. I just tested it by putting a white clip where the worse offenders were in terms of pinkish or yellowish colors in note mode. Switched over to session and those clips were plain old white with no coloring. Also, notice when you're in drum mode and don't have any pa...

Re: drum rack ideas because of push
You can also use the external instrument if your device has multiple outs so you can have the audio of different sounds on different pad channels.

Re: White Led colors have different color tints/shades
I'm glad I found this thread so that I know I don't have a defective unit. Seeing many pinkish and purplish whites here scattered randomly over the unit. They seem to remain the same ones. I haven't tried making a bunch of white clips and going into session mode though. That's interesting if they ar...

Re: Screw you Komplete 9 upgrade install discs!
You might have to burn to disc, however it might work by just having the file on your hard drive and when it asks for the disk, you double-click to mount it. Might work, who knows, but you should ask NI. As for installing all the content, you have little check boxes in the installation wizard when y...

Re: Using Microtonic as a step sequencer for other plugins and
Hi folks Seeing as Live doesn't have a drum step sequencer I'm trying to use Microtonic (by sonic charge) which is a drum synth with a step sequencer to do this job so I can control an external drum module and also drum rack so I don't have to mess about with the piano roll to program drums. I don'...

Re: Screw you Komplete 9 upgrade install discs!
If it's an upgrade, why do you have to install all the content again? The first disc has the new software (Battery and Monark) and then just check the new content (Giant and Session Strings). Nothing else has changed. Did you get a new computer or something? Or were you upgrading from a much earlier...

Re: U-he appreciation
Work in progress GUI finished version will be less blury. It will look pretty mad once a load of patch cables are plugged in. Based on the idea of the Roland 100m modular synthesizer that Mr Heckman learned his talent. http://www.u-he.com/img/BazilleB4Messe.png That looks awesome. I don't know if I...

Push Key modes - Discuss your methods, favorites etc.
I figured I'd pretty much always be using it in chromatic mode with the 4th up on the next row. Being a guitar player, this is pretty intuitive and follows the same scale patterns I'm used to (at least for the first 4 strings). But I'm quickly realizing that I won't always be using the same mode as ...

Re: Changing default settings
Weird it's a Live software issue? I would think that would be a hardware setting. Thanks.
