Re: reading through the basics
First things first: are you in arrangementview or sessionview. In arrangementview you can copy/paste your clips thru the song, wherever needed. I guess you mean that. If in sessionview with the spreadsheetlike appearence, just click on the tabbutton of your (virtual) keyboard to go to arrangementvie...

Re: Multiple MIDI Controllers
Seems you need some kind of cc convertor inbetween your controller and live……

Re: What is this Sound?
Do you mean the bassline sound? That sounds to me as a single osc. sinebass patch that could come from any (soft)synth.
Added are some filtering and eq'ing and off you go!

Re: Push 3- please make it smaller
I love the way it is, as I also use it for Reason 12. Yes a MK3 could use use a dedicated pitchbend and mod wheel though. An expression pedal input could be nice too!

I use my Push2 with Reason 12, and it is good fun! I do not know how to get Push2 working for Reason in RRP mode though.
Reason and Live is a golden combi as far as I’m concerned.

Re: Pre-built drum groove options for solo guitarist ???

You can also look out for drumloops or samples from rockdrums. Just type rock drum samples in google and of y...

Re: Pre-built drum groove options for solo guitarist ???
"you can find all kind of MIDI files on the internet." --- can you elaborate on this just a little? Please try to be a clear as possible here, I'm not an Ableton pro, literally just installed this as a beginner. I've browsed all included drum files and none of them appear as "Grooves...

You can use the build in kits from Live, at least in my version, Live 10 Suite has many kits. For the grooves you can find all kind of MIDI files on the internet.

What a craftmanship is displayed here…… I have done tapesplicing while I was at the SAE in 1999, but to be honoust, I hated to do it.
But what this man does, simply having so much patience and skills.
Thanx for sharing, brings up the old schooldays LOL.

Re: Crackling in Monitors and Headphones
What buffersize do you use? Is Windows running the same samplerate ie. 48 khz or 44.1 khz for example as Live I’m running a 5 year old i7-7700 Intel with 16 gb ram at 64 samples buffersize 24bit @ 44.1 khz with a Focusrite 18i20 3rd gen interface. If I go to mixing stage I sometimes increase the buf...
