Re: Multiple Master Tracks?
Any audio track in Live can act as a Master Track. You just have to configure the other audio tracks to use it. This can be done from the "Audio To" drop down menu in the I/O section of each audio track.

Re: latency in guitar recording!!!
Zalo is right about the lesson, and this will setup Live to compensate for latency after you have recorded, but if you need less latency while monitoring your recording, then your audio buffer needs to be the smallest amount possible. 512 samples is acceptable, and 256 samples good.

Re: route 4 audio tracks to 4 channel mixer
Show the I/O section of Live's mixer and for each audio channel's output, choose the Ultralite output going to your mixer.
Still confused? Read the "Routing and I/O" chapter in the manual.

Re: latency in guitar recording!!!
We need more info to help you. Be specific. What are the specs of your computer? What sound card do you have? What OS are you using? What are your audio buffer sizes (in samples)?

My Intel P200 MMX w/ 128 MB RAM file server running OpenBSD 2.5 has been up for 3,724 days. The 1x SCSI CD burner comes in handy when I burn CDs, and the 100 MB Zip drives keep my sneakernet running smooth around the house.

Re: OT: Setting up Logic Pro 8 to use hard ware.
I'm glad that worked out. Logic isn't my main DAW anymore either, but all this chatting about the release of version 9 and your question on the Environment has sparked my interest again. I'm tempted to setup a Hackintosh and purchase version 9. I miss the easy editing features of Logic's arrange and...

Re: OT: Setting up Logic Pro 8 to use hard ware.
If you use Logic to route your midi from a controller, and if you use the "Sum Output" from the Physical Input in the Environment, then which midi channel the controller is transmitting on becomes irrelevant. I'm still using Logic 5.5 on the PC, so if things haven't changed since then, in ...

Re: How to cue a track using an intergrated usb interface?
The functionality you're looking for is dependant on your sound card. You want to find out if your sound card supports more than 2-mono or 1-stereo channel of audio. If so, you can configure Live to send the audio to the additional outputs of the sound card. Open Live's prefences, select the Audio s...
