Re: Exporting samples from Sampler
But if you want to import lot of samples coming from the same file into "sampler" I suggest that you first make your cuts in arrangement view. Then you crop. Then you drag and drop them all together onto your sampler...

Re: Where are the factory Ableton 9 templates?
you can drag the old templates folder to the Live 9 user Lib (via the finder), then they'll be there.
I was missing those also and everything is just fine with the folder in the User lib

Re: Recording MIDI signals
I don't know anything about the Virus. :( Does this happen when you launch clips or even when you don't do anything ? Have you noticed that in the "Note" area of the expanded Clip view you have > Bank / Sub / pgm You might check those. It is sometimes handy to send program changes to exter...

Re: Create automation points to a region in arrange window

Re: Set loop position 1.1.1 to position of clip start marker.
you should consider slyppid's answer and explore the "set1.1.1 here" features and warp markers...it is really faster that way. You don't have to go to arrangement window to do what you are doing. -Select range you want to loop (in your clip in session view) -cmd L > so the loop adapts to t...

Re: 'Nudging' audio on timeline in tiny sample increments?
The OP wants to move his audio, and that's the solution I provided. This method does that. Additionally it does snap to whatever you set your grid to. That's slip editing. I use it a lot . Don't mean to be rude Angstrom, but are you actually using ABLETON LIVE to do that ? -NUDGE editing. -SLIP edi...

Re: cmd-L = Cycle mode ON....what about OFF ?
way easier than hitting 2 keys? No? Ahahah, the never ending topic  Right, it's what I did I put the shortcut to "L" But the original cmd-L does ajust the "Loop section brackets" (in the scrub zone) to the actual selection AND turn the "cycle mode" ON. SO my origi...
