Hre's an little experiment I did last night. I recorded some bugs in my backyard and then set it to an acoustic bass drone-ish thing. The audio was done by letting an acoustic bass feedback through Live 5 while I moved the bass with my foot and tweaked the controls. It's quaint. http://youtube.com/w...

Thanks everyone...I ended up going with a Panasonic Lumix FZ-50....you can find refurbs for dirt cheap on line. I'd like to get in to the Canon stuff later but I determined that the lower-end Canon stuff isn't all that much better than anything else. I just can't figure out how to get the Panasonic ...
