Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Unfortunately the freeze button is greyed out too. Again I totally understand if you don't want to share the inner workings of this. I am sure it took you quite a while to create it!! I still think there should be a way for you to unfreeze it yb yourself, but I also don't mind to give it to you: un...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Yes, the most recent version (without Lmult and Ldiv) works great cross platform. To be honest, I feel I will use it more to modulate non-operator parameters, though not necessarily Live parameters. I generally use UDP to send data across tracks (or even programs) to other M4L patches or VST/AU eff...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
OK, I am an idiot!! I just checked and Osc A is at the bottom and D at the top, so it totally working fine! Is this the same in Windows? A little counter-intuitive if you ask me, but I should have noticed  Ha! Sometimes the easiest solution is the best. So parameter numbers are the same on wi...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Funny! Let's try whether the parameters are completly mirrored or changed en bloque . 29: Attack 30: Init 31: Decay 32: Peak 33: Sustain If it's en bloque, you could simply do the following: - there's a subpatcher called parameters - you could put a [!- 3] object between the [- 1] and the [* 27] obj...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
That's crazy, man. For me A controls A, B controls B and so on. I tried it again, it works as it should! If you want to find the solution together with me, you could drag the Live.API_explorer (Max Audio Effect - tools) behind the operator and find out the parameter numbers of the 4 sustain levels. ...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
You can leave the SVG-files simply in the same folder as the device. Or in any of MAX' search paths. It's only needed for the PRESETS drop down menu. For the JSUI you'll need the ej.function javascript file. As I said I tried to include it via freezing. But if it doesn't work please try to install t...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Good Evening! So here's a new version: OAE 1.1 - I replaced the Lmult and Ldiv objects by vexpr. So I hope it works for Apple by now. Please tell me! - I integrated a Dest. B analog to Operator's LFO and PitchEnv. (Though I find it a bit ineffective in a way I decided to just copy the inteface from ...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
BTW, I've implemented the nice target patcher thing that appears in the API tools with Live 8.2. That way I can assign ANY parameter simply with one click. I also started with that MAP-Button. But for controlling the oscillators more than one thing is neseccary AND it stores and restores the comple...

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Normally it should include the all js-files when freezing. But maybe it needs even more than that js to work. I don't know exactly what's neseccary as I have everything installed. Did you try do install the ejies library?

Re: SHARE: Operator Advanced Envelope
Now it works without installing the external library!
I realized that I can include the js-file by using the freeze function. So I changed the upload and edited my first post.
There a bug with including svg-pictures, so I still had to put them into a zip-file.
Cheers,
Simon

Hey friends! For me my favourite synth are Operator and NI FM8. And I always found it hard to decide which one to use, as Operator is very easy to use and properly integrated into ableton. But FM8 has some features, especially according complex envelopes, that I missed in the Operator. So I made a t...

advanced envelopes in operator
dear ableton team, For FM-Sounds I'm using the wonderful Operator and NI FM8. The only reason why I still have to use FM8 are the poor envelope abilities within the operator. I'd need to have envelopes with an unlimited number of points and always a slope factor. The should be synchronizable and abl...

Midi Remote Script with 14 Bit resolution possible?
Hi friends, When controlling devices via a control surface (blue hand) you have always a limitation of 128 steps, right?! If you use normal MIDI-Mapping instead you can choose 14-Bit messages. And if you use the mouse, you can hold the CONTROL key to have smaller steps. I was wondering if it's possi...
