It works perfectly with Windows 7 64 - and as far as i remember Vista 64 as well.
You might have to deactivate UAC (User Account Control) and run it with administrator rights to get it working.

The biggest difference to normal hardware controllers is probably the enormous amount of visual feedback & the sheer number of controls.
You can get an WiFI iPad for less without having to pay any network fees btw

You will probably have to reinstall Livecontrol using the installer that ST8 provided. LiveControl TO should show up after a restart of live then
