Re: The Great BitWig Migration

It will be very interesting to see when FL is finally released as a mac native program later this year, whether it will allow vst and au plugins as a rewire slave.

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

funny how some people can be super reactive, well too sensitive about a new product. ones get on fire about which "basic" features is lacking. do a few step backwards, I mean take a wider view of the screen. Version 1, cannot have everything. Regarding deadlines, bitwig team had to get so...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

So why not just batch convert your loops? Plenty of software can do this and you could let it happen overnight. Sorry but the only thing that can do it accurately is the apple loop utility, and you have to go through each one after it's done as it is usually a 50/50 hit/miss ratio. Furthermore, I c...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

i guess you are not reading my posts machinesworkinghardforyou and constantly quoting me out of context, so i don't even know if i should reply anymore, but to answer your question one final time, why "the hell" would I use live when i have logic, did you read what i wrote? I use it as a r...

…i got SICK, and was confined and PARALYSED, and could not sit in front of a midi keyboard… Were you also unable to post on internet forums? Is there any chance of a relapse? Unfortunately yes, i will need surgery and will be out of action for a year at least after that, but i will still be able to...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

And yeah, it is buggy, missing features important to me and I would not want to rely on it solely and have not purchased it... I can still appreciate what it is doing well... It has a lot of promise! One of the things that Bitwig really makes painfully obvious is the way ReWire has become old and o...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

So stop being an unnecessary prick. Honestly there wasn't a single insult in my post. poking fun at your vitriol? sure. You basically stated your history while excluding the level of anger you exhibit when a DAW fails in some capacity. That's fine, but you're completely missing my main point in bri...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

^^^ Nah! Tozz has been around for at least ten years at KVR. He just has really strong opinions, but not so surprisingly enough they change. He used PCs and Logic, switched to Cubase, then to Logic on Mac, then to Cubase on Mac, realized latency on Mac was awful, switched to Reason, realized that R...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

But your ignorance on the comment regarding Reason is astounding. Reason does not use VST's... so with Reason I cannot use Diva, Zebra, String Studio etc... In other words, Reason is a complete piece of shit software that costs $400 and cannot do the most basic important thing. ;-) I use vst with i...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

TTOZ, why should we care? You say this is "simply your opinion"... but then you have given us your opinion over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I have been reading your posts attentively since the beginning, and one thing baffles me: Why are your knickers in such a ...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

2 huge things... Basically, when it comes to session view, Live stands alone... That is a major reason why so many people use it even though it is weak in other areas. Bitwig is an exciting development because it offers an even better core clip launching function than Live (better integration betwe...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

Wow... I didn't know that Studio One had a clip launcher and an integrated modulation system with every device having dedicated Macros... oh WOW, bitshit can do two things studio one can't (where's the violin), and S1 can do 10 thousand that bitwig can't. LOL. 2 huge things... Basically, when it co...
