Sorry, that's not the case. You can upgrade from Live LE to Live Intro for free, but the version which comes with the APC40 (and most other software bundles which include a version of Live) is Live Lite.

Re: Audio Interfaces...Again...
Hey guys, I've been posting around. I just need an audio interface for DJing live gigs. I have an Apogee Duet, but the single stereo output ties into the headphone out so I can't cue. The Presonus Firebox looks simple enough with enough outs and is priced well. The MOTU Ultralite is overkill for wh...

Re: Audio Interfaces...Again...
Hey, ScarKord. Really diggin your songs on you website :). So which Saffire do you own? I've been looking at the Saffire PRO 24 which seems like a viable option. **EDIT** Another option may be to buy a firewire express card. Anyone know of any good brands? Glad you like the songs :) It's only a Saf...

Re: NI Battery kits >> Drum Racks presets
Actually, this would be really useful. I never fire up Battery anymore, but it does have some great kits with it. I suppose I could manually create drum racks using the samples but that would be so painful
Great idea.

Re: Audio Interfaces...Again...
Gotta say, in moving to Windows 7, my Focusrite Saffire has gone from being glitchy as hell to being totally stable! Hasn't locked up on me once. The trick appears to be to use the 'Legacy' firewire drivers rather than those provided for your chipset (read it on a forum somewhere - will see if I can...

Indeed, but if you were going to pay full price (practically) you'd just buy direct from Ableton wouldn't you?junglist_matty wrote:...isn't it just a serial number that your paying for?

:( mmm, best have a better look around and knock em down a bit then! I'll stick em on ebay with no reserve when I get home tonight, once I've cleaned all them greasy fingerprints off my m4l! I'd better keep an eye on ebay then :) Of course, you already know what my highest bid for M4L will be ;)

Perhaps they should add an 'R' to the product name and re-arrange the ordering of the letters (C, R, A, P...) Then it might make more sense

Re: Windows7.Seems Microsoft have thrown a spanner in the works?
I think it's more likely to be a permissions problem writing to the registry. Lot's of my plugins seemed to lose their authorisations after each reboot and kept requesting the serial numbers. In the end, I worked out I had to run Ableton Live as an administrator, then after inputting the serial numb...
