Actually, the up front cost of Live should be higher (or stay the same) and the upgrade costs should be lower depending on what version you started with - and if you upgraded sequentially instead of jumping from, say, 5 to 8. maybe a tiered 10% off (subtract the version you started with from the lat...

it's not bad, it's just that it colors the sound too much. it's like hearing a pioneer djm flanger at a club you know when you hear it and in this case know exactly what plug-in and daw it's from.

the pricing scheme for Ableton's upgrade system is what is the most frustrating. It should be less with a higher up front cost for the suite.

Voxengo Span was a rather pleasant surprise, one of the better frequency analyzers I've come across and very low on cpu usage. I like it more than Live's native spectrum too. 4.5/5

I use it on OSX.

Mexoscope is also pretty good. 3.5/5.

yeah i figured as much.. i've got so many tracks i thought it'd be easier if there was a universal setting to remove them for that open project.
