It does not feel like Ableton appreciates customer loyalty. They are capitalizing on the inevitable feeding frenzy that comes with a new release. They must figure that people will just pull out the credit card and worry about paying it off later. I buy responsibly by only spending money I have and ...

does push require live 9? We'll see it stand alone but at this point in time I'm assuming it requires 9.

Re: March the 5th!!!!!!!!!!

considering it's a pre-order I'm assuming it's going up at the same time for everyone.

I wonder how fast initial runs will sell out or if Akai is on top of things.

back in the old days there was basically only the lounge, now they've managed to steer all the potential nitpickers elsewhere on the forum.

Re: Drinks during DJ set? Yes? No? How many?

I never drank before my set, that could turn awful. I will drink during my set but not before. First sip happens when the first record drops. Whether I have two beers or five beers depended on the night, but if I start drinking during my set I'll play fine. If I'm a bit sauced before my set my mixin...

Re: Giving up drugs - it's easy!

cannabis .... They all act on the same brain receptors and reward pathways in fact. People find them hard to give up, they kill people. stop lying, and no it's never killed anyone and while there are some garbage cannabinoid clones out there cannabis doesn't effect the brain in the same manner. htt...

Re: The easy way to give up smoking

Also in the beginning avoid drinking and hanging out with other people who smoke. Damn fine point..I quit smoking & drinking 9 months ago & I'm holding up great. I quit drinking st the same time because I knew how hard it was to drink & not complement it with a smoke. I quit cold turkey...

Re: Gun control? We need medication control!!!!!

I like the cars analogy - but do you think that making the license holder of the gun responsible would decrease the problem? I do think it would help, and by holding them responsible I do mean 2nd degree murder charges if your gun kills someone. If the gun commits a crime, that guns owner should be...

Re: OT: Snowboarding... as in riding... snowboards...

I spent a decade in AK I've done some heli skiing and a bit of hiking but when will you you guys learn, two boards are faster then one? I loved it when first tram is full of snowboards, I'd get three runs on chair 6 before the second tram arrived. Walk out of the back of the tram and still grab firs...

there's nothing like alaska Alyeska had a little tram mishap on new years eve, 45 MPH gusts which are not unusual at all. This tram often runs in higher winds then that! http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h67/aktech23/tram_zps48f25bdb.jpg face shot: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h67/aktech23/l_8a...
