Clips are independent per view. So if you want to edit a clip in Arrangement view that is in Session view you would need to copy and past or move the clip to Arrangement view.
This will actually create a copy but it is a new clip and anything you do to that clip will not affect any of the other clips.

You can also do an cmd click (mac) or Ctrl Click (PC) on the name of the file in clip view
select show in browser and rename. If your only needing to change 1 file name this is handy.
