After a lot of tests considering hands-on controls and "tactile fun", I've removed the Lemur/OSC m4l code and I've implemented a new LaunchPad remote control possibility. The OSC/Lemur remote control was much easier to patch in m4l but I've never liked the "flat glass touchscreen feel...

Go to the MIDI TAB of Sampler. On the Mod Wheel line, select Sample Offset from the menu and adjust the modulation's amount. OK, it's not as flexible as the normal MIDI mapping of Live, but it's very easy to set up and don't require MaxForLive.

I don't think that the Macro controllers send MIDI CCs. You can use MaxForLive to patch some work around solutions.

For a step sequencer with drag-and-drop sequence into a MIDI clip capability, you should have a look at Sugar Bytes Thesis VST plug-in.

WOW !!! I'm definitively sticking with my "old" Ableton Live 8 ... I'm even thinking to switch to an hardware solution (maybe an OctaTrack ?).

I like the layout a lot too, and would be a killer controller for the m4l device I'm building at the moment (http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=184753). But why does Livid Instruments provide only MIDI protocol and no OSC ... When you have tasted a little of OSC, MIDI seems so unpract...

I've watched the Vimeo demo, it looks quite interesting.
