The makers of sound soap has gone under.

Sound soap was a great program for cleaning up audio.

Anyone have any suggestions for a similar product.

Having only the computer plugged into the battery backup fixed the issue with the lights causing Live to freeze.

Yes. It sums the two stereo input channels for that track plays them across both output channels. If you can't hear a difference try this: add a ping pong delay before the mono utility and listen or watch the meters.

I'm not sure that I can help, but for the people who could help, perhaps you should say what kind of computer you have, what operating system, what version of live, etc.

It might be able to work with track grouping but as that is a feature in Live 8 and I have yet to upgrade. If that is what would happen with track grouping then I might need to upgrade ASAP.
