i was using battery but i found it much easier using reaktor with one of their sequencers/drum machines then just sending the audio to different tracks for kick,hats,toms,bells etc etc.... you should download some midi files and work with them for a while, get to know whats going on . you might want...

have you tried it ? loading a track into ram should in sense stop the drop outs , but as long as your cpu and ram hit at the time of loading the track into ram is not to high. 512 meg of ram is ok if you dont have a lot of vsts/effect going... also if your getting interruptions make sure you dont ha...

re scan you vst folder in the prefs, select the folder again and then re scan it should come up then..

emu have stated that they only fully support cubase in regards to this, all other sequencers are just try and see what happens...

you should turn all sounds off in the windows control panel anyway as this uses more cpu..

i guess you recorded line in and your mic was on ?
check your audio settings in the taskbar and mute the mic..

just use V stack/fxteleport or for that price just upgrade your computer..

the receptor uses a athlon xp2500. for that price you would be pretty silly to buy it.. to me its a rather pointless piece of hardware.

its easier to just state your setup than having to go back and forth to find out different OS issues and setup problems, as a lot of bugs are similar in both mac and windows.it would just be redundant.

nope as live is 32 bit application, also need 64 bit audio drivers and vsts to get the most out of it, prob a year away yet..

solo the track then click file-render , then select 4 bars. drag it in from the file menu .
