Re: Where the fuck is everybody today?

This moderation is insulting. I think the Abes have finally gone "western" and corporate. Another bullshit company run by their shareholders.

Re: R.I.P. sweet, sweet baby. :(

Thanks for that.

I read the article. I'm not going to change the original start up drive. I have two additional drives that I will clone. I will use the start up disk utility and try to start up with one of my other cloned drives and see what happens.

Re: R.I.P. sweet, sweet baby. :(

@Machines: ??? I know that DP5 works on a PPC cause I have it running on my MBP, (Intel), with no issues. Are you sure of this? I checked and Tiger is compatible with the Intel machines. I have all the spectrasonics plugs that I can update without cost. My biggest concerns are Ableton and my WAVES p...

Re: R.I.P. sweet, sweet baby. :(

(I did buy DP 7 . Seriously, I switched to Logic years ago, tries switching back at 5, and had 5 sitting on the computer doing nothing, but DP7 is retardedly fucking cool shit. You will be stoked, a fuck ton of UI enhancements all over the program, and Themes is sweet! I'm still on Live 7, looking ...

Re: Things from this year that I wish I had learned earlier.

I'll bite: This is all relegated to Dance Music. Less is more. Always start with the drums and bass. If your drums and bass don't move the track alone. Throw out the drums or bass or both. Don't add anything that doesn't move the track. If it just adds noise and no movement / emotion. DELETE and mov...

Uhhm...I'm pretty sure that The Lounge is specifically targeted for discussions about farts, boogers, greasey food, ambient jazz-metal, dandruff, S&M, commodes, lite-porn, Russian hookers, FruityLoops jokes, nasty British teeth, green music and black holes. Please try to stay on-topic. :o I don...

Re: R.I.P. sweet, sweet baby. :(

I am gonna clone my drive's and put those on the two 1 tb drives. (my old baby was driving Tiger). I'm hoping I can get away with upgrading as little software as possible and the clone will let all my universal binary apps work. (I did buy DP 7 and MachV 2.0).

I bought the Mac Pro 2.8 QuadCore Nehalem Desk Top, 16 gigs of RAM and 3 1 TB drives. I've been using LIVE 7 for years and am happy with it a...
