Everything makes sense on this unit except for one thing.....
How do I bank over to say faders 9-16 and then 17-24?

The short answer is you can install Live on 2 machines, providing they aren't running at the same time. It's not a ridiculous question at all. And Ableton didn't "give away" 2 of anything, they sold you 2 unlocks (provided they aren't running at the same time). Get your partner up to speed...

Audacity (with the LAME encoder is one way to go).... works great.
iTunes is another.

Does anyone have a success story regarding the U-Key and Ableton?

This feature alone will get my money.
