I tend to use Max devices for this - controlchange8 works pretty well. http://roberthenke.com/technology/m4l.htmlMrHassanSan wrote: I guess a better question would be whether there's a way to automate CC data in arrangement view?

Re: [SEEKING] Ableton Live remote control for OSX
If what you want to do is let FOH mix you on the fly as if you were a band maybe an out the box alternative - run through an XR/MR-18 or similar and let FOH remote control the mix and EQ via that? Or is it vital that FOH canactually mess with the Live set? Downside - will cost a bit. So if you want ...

Re: Natural pitch correction - other than Melodyne
Waves says only Arrangement View is supported. At least with the simpler version I got it sounded wrong in Session and correct in Arrangement, so I'd say these are not the same. But I assume you have more experience with this than I do. Officially it's unsupported though. I ran it in session before...

Re: Natural pitch correction - other than Melodyne
I'm not saying it compares in all the features especially with Meolodyne DNA but the OP said he just wanted pitch correction on a monophonic track. It can be got very cheaply. The actual pitch correction seems fine (bought it as part of a super cheap bundle to replace AT after the AT upgrade price w...

Re: Natural pitch correction - other than Melodyne
Waves Tune is OK and has the advantage of being very cheap *if* you get it as part of a deal. Basically you have to sign up for their email and every so often it comes up super cheap. I think AT is possibly better in terms of naturalness (is that a word) but as you say not a lot of use on PC without...

Re: USING MIDI ON VST'S
Once it's on a Macro you don't need to map the knob. Set up the launchkey as a control surface (and unmap any MIDI assignments you have made) and once the rack is selected you will find that the launchkey pots turn the macros. The thing to look for is a blue hand at the top of the rack showing that ...

Re: Complicated macros.
If you want to keep them proportionately the same so C is always double B is always double A, can't you use range so A is mapped from 100-1000HZ, B from 200-2000HZ and so on? Or have I totaly misunderstood what you want?

Re: Are the changes to Arrangment View in L10 helping you?
I don't like the all one colour thing As has been noted elsewhere it's hard to see the grid lines behind the new blocks except when automation is on. I also found the old tracks with a colour bar at the top and an audio/MIDI representation at the bottom easier to work with. Different clearly marked ...

I've had extra unlocks due to laptop upgrades/having to reinstall OS/my own stupidity. There has *never* been a problem getting an extra unlock. Even on a Sunday on one occasion.

Re: Launchpad Latency
Seconded. Windows drivers, which is what the motherboard will be on, always cause latency as far as I can tell. The problem is not with the launchpad but with the time the on board soundcard takes to sort out audio playback. 1/3 second doesn't really matter when you press play on a YouTube video but...

Re: how do you adjust multiple volume levels simultaneously?
???
If you select multiple tracks (cmd/ctrl-click or shift-click to select all the tracks in a range) you can move all the faders together. You've been able to do this as far back as I remember without having to group or use busses (although those are also useful techniques).
