I find when I open Live as a different user it opens in demo mode. What you have to do is open it once so it creates all the libraries and stuff, then copy your unlock.cfg file from the ~/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live [version]/Unlock/ folder for the user you authorised it with to the cor...

Whatsize is essential for seeing where the space is being taken up and discovering stuff you can delete that you didnt know was taking up space.

After downloading loads of new UB Audio Units I thought I'd be studious and organise them within my Components folder into categories (EQ, Compression etc) so i can browse them more easily. However now they are organised Live is no longer detecting them. I thought maybe its a case of not having them...

I always mix stuff by running it in stems through my allen and heath desk and then recording the desk output back into a track in live. however in certain projects live just seems to decide it doesn't like this, and whilst it plays back fine when I listen to the recording there are horrible glitches...

I've read some stuff about dumping the BCR's settings as into your computer as sysex and then editing that is a code editor changing values to change the acceleration of the knobs... don't know if that will help you find this out but I could never get my head round it!

harder better.. sounds like a talkbox, and old gtr effect where it sends the sound down a tube into your mouth and then you vocalise it... you could also try a vocoder which imposes the characteristics of your voice over another sound...
