Re: Still have $200 burning a hole in my pocket.

That would be 100 $2 whores. That should keep me busy for about 10 years.

Re: Using Ableton Exclusively

I use Live exclusively as well. I recently got the Izotope Mastering Plugin and I am good to go from start to finish on projects. Now if it only had a built-in MP3 Converter.

Re: Still have $200 burning a hole in my pocket.

Alright, I am buckling and getting the Live Suite Upgrade. $200, and they accept paypal. I will save AutoTune until next time, or perhaps the Live 9 release.

10 instruments. Maybe for my next album, I can limit myself to 4 or 5 self created sounds using the new Suite Instruments as a challenge.

Still have $200 burning a hole in my pocket.

I still have the same $200 burning a hold in my pocket. I downloaded Antares Autotune EVO and was on the verge of pulling the trigger because I love controlling vocal harmonies with my midi keyboard. As I said, I only made it to the verge of pulling the trigger. Then I noticed that Propellerhead's R...

Re: $200, What to do?

I am going to check out these XILS lab synths. I downloaded the demos as I have never really been an synth experimentalist beyond using Native Instruments Kore Player. This will probably start a flame war, but I really enjoy adding cool vocals to projects. I realize that on this forum folks tend to ...

Re: $200, What to do?

I have to pass on the weed. I'm getting to old for that stuff, just turning to good drink now. Well, I like the Synth idea. I actually considered "The One" deal from Arturia. The main problem is I'm not a very good synth player. I have to rely on much more talented musicians. Although, I h...

Re: Just finished this electro-acoustic thing - mix help needed

Sounds great to me. The mix seems balanced, I hear all the little weird bits. I really like the ambience of the song.

Re: 0o0o Glimp o0o0

I like the strained sound of the introductory synth. Then when the dubstep bass kicks in, it gets good.

One question, why use Ableton and Record 1.5? What is the benefit?

Re: Trade Mastering

Thanks for the offer, but of course I can't afford the money. I can on the other hand afford time if someone is interested.

Trade Mastering

Any other DIY musicians out there need some help mastering? Me too. I just got Izotope Ozone, and read the paper along with it. Now I am sitting down to attempt to master my album. So far my biggest take away, you can't master your own stuff. So, does anyone need their project mastered? Want to trad...

Bored Slide Guitar Player?

Is there a bored slide guitar player out there looking for an easy album credit? I need some help with a song that is looking for some slide guitar work. I don't play guitar, so am completely useless. Anyone out there want to contribute a small bit of talent and show off your chops? I have the song ...
