Re: The Maschine & Ableton Love Thread ;) [upon user request]

After a little rooting in the editor software, I've found that the propriatary control can be re-programmed into any template; win. Working on it now... Quick question on using Maschine as a MIDI controller in Live! Are y'all using the pre-set Ableton-approved template, or have you created your own ...

Re: The Maschine & Ableton Love Thread ;) [upon user request]

Quick question on using Maschine as a MIDI controller in Live! Are y'all using the pre-set Ableton-approved template, or have you created your own controller script? Or, further still, are you just hard-mapping everything with Apple+M? I'm not finding the Ableton template conducive to my workflow wh...

Re: sampler for oneshots help.

To enable each sample to play all the way through as a one-shot, set the volume envelope decay, sustain, and release times to maximum.

An acoustic guitar. Or, if we're getting a little more complex, Macbook + Maschine (or Macbook + AudioMulch 2.0)

I can't believe we've created a 27-page long e-HardOn for Maschine.

Wicked.

Re: The Maschine & Ableton Love Thread ;) [upon user request]

Tomorrow I am actually going VINYL HUNTING to get more sounds to sample (I've pretty much exhausted my current paltry collection). Am still loving Maschine (even though I've had no time this week). And, what is more, I've only crashed it good-and-proper once! wow! that i didn't managed yet... it's ...

Re: Live + monome = ?

The Monome forum?

I used to have a Livid Block, and used it in conjunction with 'Follow Actions' on my clips. Gave some tasty _mlr-style effects.

Re: The Maschine & Ableton Love Thread ;) [upon user request]

Of course. Maschine's sampling/resampling capabilities are far superior to Live. You can even automate it so that it starts resampling at the top of the next bar, stop recording after the number of bars you specify, in sync with the tempo, so that it makes a clean cut loop, and have it kick in at t...

OK, some questions for all you who can't stop making love to your maschine: - Everyone keeps saying they're doing everything from the hardware, are you talking about just your drum tracks, or are you using Maschine for everything else too? Doing everything from the Maschine hardware; all sample rec...

Will post shortly...

DO IT! DO IT! It's this thread alone that convinced me to get one, and it really is the best purchase I've made in - literally - years.

You won't regret it.
