The Moog Modular has a huge cool factor, but beyond that, I don't know anyone who really uses it.

Any mini moog soft synth is going to suffer from over use.

Call your local high school or college's theater department and talk to the director of the program about doing some quick voicework. Nice mic and whalla.

In my opinion, you should really consider what format you're publishing to for choosing the samplerate to work at- above all else. If you're going to CD- 44.1 or 88.2- not 96. As Knotkranky stated earlier. Vinyl- there is no consumer or pro needle that can read frequencies very far above 20 khz. The...

Damn, you love this phase inversion thing. First of all, that test has zip to do with the posters question, unless you are a student, but I will digress with you for a minute. True it has zip to do with the posters question, but still I think it would be a good way to test the relative traits of di...

OMG NOT AGAIN! We've done this, the files were exactly the same except for a gain difference. People heard all kindas stuff in it, differences in bass, differences in transients etc. It was all in their heads, the only difference was gain. 1 + 1 = 2. Adding 2 wavs together will always be the same r...

I know you're pissed at PT- and I agree. Pro Tools is great but Digidesign are a bunch of asses. However- if you're sessions in LE are getting tight at 32 tracks you can upgrade now or soon to 48. I'll dig out the email tommorrow at work.

See, that movie sucked ass. Toto was in the sound track. TOTO. I'm more into the books and the mini series. At the end of the 1984 movie Muadib just raises his hands and it rains. O dear lord I could dig into that movie forever. Henceforth, that movie did not happen. Any further references to Dune w...
