I have a firewire MyBook External HD at home that rocks. A co-worker has a USB2 version of the same drive and it sucks ass.
I have about 4 FW devices daisy chained and they still seem to work better than my USB devices.
Well except the PadKontrol.

Wasn't dancing outlawed in Toledo, Ohio? I dunno if its still the same but a venue had to have some sort pf license to allow people to dance in it. There used to a late night bar in Birmingham UK, that the door men would come over and have a word if you were dancing and it was between 2 times, abou...

DELL is a great company, I mean, they are super-affordable, they offer lots of configuration options of the latest technologies, and I really like the BIOS they use (which usually offers a lot of changeable options). If only they didn't use such cheaply-made components! I'm pretty sure that the 142...

probably most of you in here have never used a real patch bay i have and i don't actually want a DAW that i need to update every week. Yeah I mean who wants bugs squashed as they are found? I would rather wait 6 months for all the bugs and glitches for things I don't even use to be fixed before I h...

Beat Port has always been totally retarded and had their heads stuck in there collective arses for a good while. I used to continually criticise there policy for remix competitions, of making you buy the parts. A few days after a particularly good criticising session, as this time they were charging...

my padKontrol fits great on a music stand. I kind of think that's more aesthetically pleasing (and easier to carry) than another keyboard stand. Been looking for a stand of late and after trying a snare drum stand and it not being what I was after I decided that a sheet music stand would be best fo...

That's why playing basslines on a padkontrol is a lot of fun, too! I love making a patch and throwing it on the pads with a scale plugin and just banging away until I got something worth keeping. Best way to make bass lines ever. :D in fact i find it very hard to play a rhythm on the keyboard... Ag...
