I'm sure this has been covered, but after an hour of searching I admit defeat!

What I want to do is set up two buttons on a MIDI controller. One to increase a parameter value by one with each push. The other to decrease it by one with each push.

Any thoughts?

You got me excited... Until I realised this was a product from Cakewalk.

The problem with using Simpler for this is you can only load one loop at a time. To have multiple loops in a channel (i.e. one per clip) you'd need to set up a rack with multiple Simplers. This is why I woud like Ableton to add an ADSR envelope either to each channel or as an audio effect.

Just to clarify, I don't necessarily want Live 9 to come out. Only recently upgraded to Live 8 and bought M4L. But I'd certainly use some of the stuff in Suite and getting 25% off is tempting... If I do go for the Suite upgrade and Live 9 is announced soon after I wont moan though - my eyes are wide...
