Samples in RAM

Sometimes I get the little Disk Overload light and my audio starts to stutter when I running around 8 different loops at once. These loops aren't physically large, but since Live seems to only read from the disk, my little iceBook's drive can't keep up... I have tons of RAM to blow... Why no selecti...

Rewire/MaxMSP

Well, I downloaded the demo, whipped up a quick Rewire patch in MaxMSP and everything seems to be working just fine...

Congratulations guys on another great update...

I haven't tried the Reverb plugin yet, but I'm sure it's great...

Make sure you have the newest version of the plugin from DestroyFX http://www.smartelectronix.com/~destroyfx . I would also suggest that you lem DestroyFX know about this problem. I have run into this problem with other plugins in other applications, and it was always plugins that used delays/reverb...

Nope, using OS9.2.2. I have a OSX partition all ready for when all of my apps support it. Unfortunately, Max/MSP/Pluggon does not support OSX.......yet.

I'm using Pluggo in Live on my IceBook 500Mhz... It works fine most of the time. The most annoying thing is that the placing of a new plugin causes a split second lapse in the audio. I suspect because of the time required to start a Pluggo plugin. When a Pluggo plugin starts, it essentially starts a...

rewire question

this seems retarded to me, but do I have to have Rebirth installed to use ReWire on my Mac? I really don't like Propellerhead's products [i'm not much on emulations of 20 year old hardware] but I'd like to try ReWire to connect Live to Max/MSP. Everything I read implys i need Rebirth installed to us...

Glitchy Wishes

My music is rather glitchy and I like to include some random elements in the mix from time to time... The following features would make Live so much more appealing to me :: 1. A system where rules could be applied to a sample to trigger it randomly. Rules could include its quantization, density [how...

Don't leave it the way it is....make it selectable for each track/sample, etc. That way, you can have the best of both worlds... But, that stutter re-triggering thing is a great idea...I'm gonna try it out right now.

do you have the latest version of Live? 1.1? This problem was fixed in the version prior to that [can't remember number] and works flawlessly for me using 828 driver v2.1 and Live 1.1 on OS 9.2.2
