So do you guys: 1. Build your multiple tunes left to right across the session view so that you can still have midi instruments in in each track but then you can't really use the scene launch ? or 2. Build down the view so you can use scene launch but have to render/flatten your midi parts so that it...

This is the same dilemma I have been having for a while. Wanting to do drum and bass with Live I would be moving into an arena that is totally dominated by the DJ and so therefore a crowd is going to be fully expecting a continual stream of music. It was the one thing I found disappointing about Tom...

I would like to see the whole show in person really, b...

I use padKontrol 1 port A as I use the USB interface.

As I don't output anything to the padkontrol from Live I didn't set that up.

There is a DJ FU from Oxford who plays drum and bass/hiphop. He does a thing called the DJ vs the drummer with The Jungle Drummer and they are pretty good. (http://www.myspace.com/djfu) Back to topic the worst and so by definition the best DJ name I remember is Jim'll Mix It and MC Spliff Richard. O...

I do actually do web/graphic design for a living and use dreamweaver mostly. You need to know a fair amount of html though but its a fairly easy package to use. If your are into graphics packages at all then fireworks could be an option as its again fairly easy to design something in that and then g...

I really like the first half, its sort of uncomfortable to listen to with those eerie sounds which I really like. :) I like the way the beats step up a gear in the second half but I don't like the general feel of the track at that point as it feels a bit mechanical to me. Drum and bass can be hard a...

If you can't go any longer than a week doing something that doesn't get you perfect results then I would say don't bother taking up any hobby as you will never be happy. Also why should I bother taking 20mins or so to listen and feed back if you can't be arsed to spend more than a week playing with ...

Yeah unfortunately he has thought of a way to technically do what he wants so then the "ok sign" was moulded to fit that. Rather than saying "how would people want to control it" then developing the technology. The other one was cool though, multi touch has to be the futur...

Amon Tobin said in an interview for knowledge mag that it's pointless to to go higher than 44.1.

Right or wrong if its good enough for Amon its good enough for me. :)
