Re: Mac Pro vs Macbook Pro
Hi guys, just my 2 cents. I really think all our MacBook Pro fan problems are graphic related rather than processor/multi-core related. There are lots of posts about it and even though they did some fixes (forcing Live to use internal card only, which doesn’t work right) trying to mix a +20% cpu ses...

Re: Infinite loop in simpler
Thanks a lot for your help and thoughts, they helped a lot. Since I needed to toggle the loop on/off from the drumrack, the Robert Henke plugin did not help. I found quite a few midi hold m4l devices but this one does exactly what I need :

Infinite loop in simpler
Hi everyone, I’m trying to loop a warped audio file in simpler (let’s say it’s a drum beat) , and have it loop infinitely so I can trigger it from a drum rack. The problem is, longest release time in simpler is 60 s so it will slowly fade out. How can I make the release infinite or bypass it? Any wo...

Audio to Midi. Piezo as trigger
Hi, I am trying to convert a piezo mic input (audio) into midi notes with velocity sensitivity.
How can I achieve this with as minimum latency as possible in order to play it live?
Thanks a lot for your help, best..

Re: Am I The Only One Not Impressed?
The update is amazing. It grows on you. The more I use it the more I like it. I hope they leave the GUI just as it is. Echo is a beautiful plugin. I do agree on the comping. We need it and it is very important to have it. To me, this is a great v10. The subtle arrangement changes make live a really ...

Re: STILL NO COMPING?!
This is such a needed feature. It is a pain to track vocals on live as it is, really slowing down the process. The loop workaround is just a workaround, clumsy and slow. And not everybody uses loop recording to track. I am constantly going back and forth to Logic because of this Ableton flaw, it mak...

Live 10 announced. No comping?
Am I the only one really disappointed with the most important thing lacking in Live not showing up on Version 10? I am so tired of tracking in Logic and switching to Live.... I would have never thought they would be skipping this very much requested feature on a v10 release. Hope they include it soon.

Re: PUSH 2 with logic pro x
Yes , both apps need to be open.
You'll get all the scales in order to play in Logic with the push. You could also color code any pad.
I think this is by far the best way to achieve what the user asked.

Re: PUSH 2 with logic pro x
Hi everyone, it is possible. I'm on a Mac, so I'll explain on a Mac but it should be done on Windows using some sort of virtual MIDI cable. 1. Enable IAC Driver 2. Open BOTH Ableton and Logic 3. In Live, setup one midi track. Put input exclusively to Ableton Push live port and MIDI output to IAC, ch...

Re: Crashes and Bugs Poll
Both maschine and live user here. Ableton is rock solid, there must be something wrong on your side. While the DAW has a lot of flaws, stability is not one of them. 100% reliable. An SSD drive makes wonders in terms of performance, and at least for me, RME have been the best investment ever. Good lo...

Re: Are you aware of this bug?
This is getting off topic, but this monitoring behavior you are bringing to the table is latency dependent isn't it?
If you have low latency the discrepancy will be smaller.

Re: Are you aware of this bug?
Stormkraft , I don't get what you are saying. I am working at 96 samples latency (really low). All the tracks are in auto monitoring. Audio timing is perfect. Midi timing is wrong. Midi timing is perfect if tempo is not tapped. The drift between audio and Midi is much more than 96 samples. Am I loos...

Re: Are you aware of this bug?
Yes, that is probably the case. When tapping the tempo live doesn't know when will be the next tap. But there should be a workaround since this is possible in other DAWS. At the end of the take, notes are recorded in a certain place in time and there is where they should be. If not, you are relying ...

Re: Are you aware of this bug?
Ok, this is my particular workflow: I have a band, we improvise and I play electronic drums that are MIDI connected to Live. All the band plugs into that computer, so we just give a stereo out to the sound guys when we do gigs. Also, we record everything we play in this multitrack session. I like ta...

Re: Are you aware of this bug?
When you tap the tempo while recording, these changes are recorded in the tempo track, which makes total sense.
The midi clips that are recorded when the tempo is tapped on the fly are out of sync with real time. They are off, they are wrong...
