Check the thread in the bugs forum. This is really old, I complained about it when I was using Konqueror, which is a linux browser that is based on KHTML, the same engine Safari is. Do yourself and everyone using Safari a favor. Click the little bug and report it to Apple. There are a lot of phpbb s...

No, you can render to WAV or AIFF. It'd be killer to render to ogg or mp3 though.

I'd stay away from the 12" model if you can. There's no L3 cache on it, and it will hurt performance in general. If you look around (not online), you might find a local dealer trying to get rid of some 800Mhz and 867Mhz 15" models at a price that can't be beat.

The Ozone DirectX plugin is for mastering - the Winamp version is similar, except that it has presets to improve the sound of the mp3s. I picked one (warm or airy or something) and my mp3s sounds WAY better - tons o' bass plus they breathe better. I installed it at work, where I have these so-so Ha...

I found a way around this, try setting up in 1.5.2, saving your project, and opening that project up in 2.0.1. Not exactly a good work around, but a workaround.

For me at least, I like having an external sound card for two reasons:

1. Something less likely to break off in my TiBook.
2. I don't have to worry about weird cables and adapters.

That's cool to see. It's really important for Apple to be actively involved with the companies making software on their platform.

Working with long peices

Anyone have any tips/suggestions on working with long peices of audio? I'm working with a long a cappella (well, 5 minutes long, longer than anything else I've ever worked with), and I can't seem to place the warp markers right to have it go with the song.

Post Switching Remarks

At the risk of being called a number of names, I made the "switch". I got an incredible deal on a TiBook I couldn't pass up. Some interesting things I've noticed: 1. Even though I'm using OS 10.1.5, I don't see the real big hubub on speed. I'm sure it could run faster, but I could care les...
