+1 ARA2 (or an Ableton equivalent)
Comping and MPE are also highly necessary if Live is to be a competitive DAW, it is starting to fall so far behind what other offer and I really cant understand why given the amount of developers who work for Ableton.

Re: Ableton needs to be more transparent about it's updates
You are assuming they have a roadmap!
Ableton development is currently very slow, I don't think you have to worry about Ableton 11 anytime soon....I would guess its 2-3 years away.

Re: After update to Windows 10 2004 blurry GUI
the display is like it used to be before Live 10 introduced the high-dpi mode. So for those with a high-res display, you either have to use Live with a blurry UI, or use this 'trick' : Disable 'high-dpi mode' in Live's preferences, then right click on Live's icon on the desktop, go to 'compatibilit...

Re: New user here in the UK, can you help me?
The upgrade will just give you more 'stuff' instruments (mainly the AAS based stuff and a wavetable synth) , fx, a ton of samples/loops, not more option like refined audio and midi editing, pitch correction, comping.... If you are mainly putting down live audio in a linear fashions (i.e. not clip ba...

Sustain pedal causes CPU overload
Hi I was just stepping through a few of the piano pre-sets such as 'Wurley Vancouver Ash' and as soon as I use the sustain pedal and play fast my CPU melts down and I get crackles - its only sample playback patches (with a few effects) that give me this issue and I am on a 4GHZ i7 ....anyone else no...

Re: Push 2 vs Launchpad Pro mk3 // cost vs functionality
I would even prefer a Push 1 over the Launchpad Pro (MK3). Doesn't mean the LPP is bad at all, just the Push can't be beaten with its display, the encoders and the touch strip. The Push can do anything the LP does and lots more, and who cares for that little built in sequencer in the LP when you ha...

Any hack to get more 'collection' folders?
I find the 'seven' folder limit extremely frustrating in Lives browser, I have loads of screen real estate to have more, and I am used to having more options with regards to making collections...is here a txt file hack or any way around this seemingly arbitrary limit? Nested folders would also work ...

Re: After update to Windows 10 2004 blurry GUI
Maybe raise it on the beta feedback as an issue....it will probably get more attention there....2004 roll out hasn't gone to that many people yet, but it could very soon!

Re: Bitwig drops the CPU Bomb!
I use both Bitwig 3.2 and Live 10.1 - I find Bitwig faster generally (loading, scanning VSTS etc) and I get better results with Bitwig in terms of CPU and latency with the same buffer size (I am on Windows 10 64 bit i7 SSD). Bitwig has improved a lot 'under the hood' since V2. how are you quantifyi...

Re: Stream deck
I just got an XL today am really impressed with it. Still a lot to learn, but set up some simple macros and have it automatically switching to different profiles for different DAWS which is very useful...no need to remember all of those sht/ctr/key combos anymore! It looks really cool as well 8) I h...
