btw when I tried opening one of those other patches in Max that Didn't work----in a feeble attempt to maybe try and "fix" it-----which spanned about 20 seconds before I quit------I noticed that Max has an update, so in case anyone hasn't updated go and update now

audio to midi in real time?
anyone know a max device that converts audio to midi, ie. notes with velocity, basically the "convert to midi " feature that you can right click in the menu to convert an audio clip u just made, except in real time

trying to use push as a sequencer AND mixer AND note input device all at once for live performance is just not possible. if u have just one track---MAYBE--- two---- then u can get away with it . but an more than that and it's just not doable

using the bass sound's filter envelope and amplitude envelope, is u can sculpt the snapiness and punch . u might need a synth hat has more options to fine tune the envelopes

its only by application, that you can figure out what setup you want. its best to first start off ultra simple, and make some restrictions. that makes your decisions alot fewer.

ok, so you can clear all notes within a clip by using the computer keyboard, and going CTRL+A then DELETE right? so isnt there a way to midi map that same function. cant i map one midi button to be the CTRL+A and then another midi button to be the DELETE?
