Re: Preset action over parameters controlled by [live.remote~]
Hey dataf1ow, I wonder how to share and illustrate this misbehavior at the best. By the way in my experience I don't see it happen particularly at initial loading of a set. Also, I do not use Live's macro functionality too much, I have made different setups with modular controls, i.e. a set of contr...

Re: Preset action over parameters controlled by [live.remote~]
Yes thank you for putting me back on track, greyed out control parameters can of course change values at preset change if whatever controls them via live.remote~ reacts to preset recalls. But still, in this configuration I experience weird things. It can happen that a greyed out control won't reflec...

Preset action over parameters controlled by [live.remote~]
Hi I have some parameters greyed out because their control has been overtaken from a [live.remote~]. And yet, in some situations I manage to recall presets over them. But not always, and more importantly I do not see any rule about why it would work or not. I went through the reference which suggest...

Multiple plugins on one track (in a drum rack)
Hello, this is the first time I try this configuration and Live crashed twice already, in the background, without any visible reason. Is this documented as a fragile setup? Because if yes, I go on a different way right away. It would just be a tidy logical situation in this case to use a drum rack f...

Re: how to manually input text and save it with the live set ?
Yes, I typically need to understand the terminology, "keys" and "values" and such, which the examples in your link, as far as I could check, already take for granted. And it is a bit hard to google "dictionary"

Re: how to manually input text and save it with the live set ?
I am pretty excited about [dict] after watching the tutorial. For those of us who have no javascript background (that's the code, right?) could somebody please point out links where one can learn about dictionaries in general, in a way that can be taken advantage of here?

Re: how to manually input text and save it with the live set ?
I asked something similar a while ago and I would swear I had received a message then, but it doesn't show now. I try to remember if I use the solution in any patch.

With Command pressed (don't know the equivalent for PC) you can press buttons and messages in Edit mode.

Problem observing clip_trigger_quantization
Hello,
could you guys please confirm this behavior? I can set clip_trigger_behavior but not observe it. I am using the most recent versions. The message I get in the Max window is: "q_xxx:bad number"
thank you for looking into it

Yep I second that. Very annoying, and surprising nobody else complains.
Does somebody know the corresponding procedure for OSX?

Re: 8x8 send-to-return-tracks matrix
So I realize the patch contains abstractions because of the poly~s, will this work from the uploaded .amxd file for those who don't have the given abstraction in their path? I prefer to ask before too many people download something that is not working...
