Re: Seen the front page? Live 9 is here :o
This issue for me isn't paying to upgrade, I expected that. But I've apparantly gotten the highest quote so far at 399 USD. I had live 8 and then I updated to suite last year or so when they ran the 33% off sale, looks like they took those "savings" and tacked them on to my updrade to 9 pr...

I'm really confused about upgrade pricing. I have suite 8 and it's quoting me 399 usd to upgrade to suite 9. That is just ridiculous

This happened to me as well.
You can buy replacements on mouser for much cheaper than mpcstuff.

RS45112A400G
ALPS Slide Potentiometers
10 KOhms 20%
You'll want a fairly high wattage for your soldering iron too.

Re: Headphone Monitoring for Drummer live performance - NEWBIE
You really need an audio interface with multiple outs. I have a Scarlett 8i6 by focusrite, it has four outputs which I group in pairs, 1&2 are the main mix 3&4 are the cue (click) Mix using the audio interface's software I can set up a separate mix that goes out of the headphone jack on the ...

Re: How is 8.3 so far?
8.3 has been solid for me, in fact every release has been solid for me aside from a few pesky plugins. I know what can cause crashes with those plugs and avoid them, bounce or save often. My live set has been rock solid. Although this weekend will be my first full set with it. I've been doing a lot ...

Re: So... Who's using Z3ta?
I still use 1.5 or whatever the latest 1. release was, I bought it when it was on sale over a year ago.
I use it, but I bounce it when I'm happy with what I have. I've written some neat go-to patches on it.
It does crash for me if I have the GUI up onscreen and i hit CTRL.

Re: Performing live with a drummer
yeah, you got to send a click. When I use hardware I have a pretty advanced signal routing to make it work. soundcard out (Ableton Mix 1/2) > Mixer with hardware keyboards in the inputs alongside the ableton mix. Main Out of Mixer > House Control Room out of Mixer > Soundcard Input 3/4 Heaphone out ...

Re: Ableton freezes when using ASIO with Focusrite Scarlett
I've had a scarlett since June, no problems whatsoever.
I'm also running Windows 7 64bit, and have used it on 8.2.2, 8.2.5 and 8.2.7
Have you gotten the latest drivers and firmware that were released in I think October?

Re: tetra or nord lead 2x rack?
I might be wrong, but I think the tetra can receive midi on 4 separate channels too... you are correct: In Multi Mode, Tetra becomes a multitimbral sound module capable of playing four monophonic parts on four MIDI channels, with separate outputs for each voice. But with the Nord Lead you can have ...

Re: tetra or nord lead 2x rack?
I have two DSI synths (Mopho and MEK) and love them. I also have the Nord Lead 2x One plus of the Nord Lead is it can receive midi simultaneously on 4 separate channels. So if you are going to do any sort of midi sequencing, it's quite powerful! Still I love the sound of DSI stuff. It's a hard choic...

and with gross beat already being 60% off you can get what normally is a 99 dollar plugin for 19.50.
I already was going to buy gross beat at the 60% off point, glad I held out a little longer!

Re: Help: My Midi Controller Just Stops Triggering Live
I had a midi controller become disconnected from Live for the first time yesterday. I'm running 8.2.5 still and it's been almost entirely reliable for me. I have crashed it a few times, but those were known, well-documented bugs with a third party VST (Z3TA) The lights were still on but Live didn't ...

Re: Upgraded to 8.2.6 and Lost Project Files??
When you install a new release it installs into it's own folder
i.e. there is an 8.2.6
and a folder for whatever versions you may have installed as well, so nothing should have been overwritten.

I had this problem once too, I think it has to do with how that specific footswitch is setup, i.e. latch or momentary.

Re: Ableton & Focusrite Scarlett interface
Runs and sounds great for me (for a consumer grade device that is) and ive had it since it came out. I reccomend getting the new beta drivers as well unless one of the known issues will effect you. the beta version is dated 10/7, the final version mixcontrol1.1 10/14. http://www.focusrite.com/downl...
