Didn't change for me. I upgraded twice--from 2GB to 4GB and then again to 6GB. No change in machine ID code.

All I see on the thing is one big knob. Can you control the headphone volume separately from the main volume? I sometimes switch between the 2 frequently. is it even possible to have autosave without interrupting your system flow? Seems like recording to the HD while playing in real time would seriously bog down the system. Maybe once we all have 64 gigs of RAM, but until then I don't think we'd really want that.

Interesting post. I have Live 8 Suite on a 160GB Intel X-25M SSD and it is GREAT. Blazing fast. Once the price of SSD drops enough I want to get one to store my 3rd party samples.
