Higher quantize resolution
As far as i can see the highest quantize resolution is a 16th note. Where as this is fine for a lot of things, i can't do any complex drum fills, etc.
Up to a 64th note would be nice.

the big question is, will it support automation? the current version is not automateable(sp?) at least on the mac side load it up in live annd check the clip envelope view, no params are published to the host At a guess it will, as it seems to be based on the Kontakt engine. I would be very surpris...

I use a Maxtor One Touch 160Gb, which has USB2 (which i use) and also firewire. The reason i got this over a Lacie drive (which would have been cheaper) is that is is 7200rpm and has 8mb cache. The Lacie d2 drives only have 2mb cache, unless you get the ones over 250Gb. You can't run it from the USB...

Live v's SX3
Even though SX3 has the time warping and playlist things now, after having just read the manuals from Steinbergs ftp site, it doesn't seem as straight forward as just chucking some loops at it and there you go, like in Live. I'm not ditching SX, but i'm going to stick with SX2. I still use it to cre...

Re: To Toltek the knob Jockey
Who are you ya knob end? People are allowed to ask questions. Get over yourself, no one cares what you use you're just a faceless, talentless twat, who's only sexual encounter is the 10 second promo you get on porn sites. So if you don't have the brain capacity to be civil then I don't know how you...

Battery or RM IV
I really like the Impulse instrument in Live, but it's very limiting with it's features, so i'm looking at buying either Linplug RM IV or Battery but would like to know what people prefer, or if there's not really much difference. The price seems to be about the same. I prefer the look of the RM IV,...
